Yungaburra

This project was for a new Farm Manager’s residence on a large property near Newham. The house is conceived as a series of pavilions whose forms draw upon the rural vernacular of corrugated iron Shearing Sheds. Colonnades of massive ironbark posts, recalling older traditions of bush construction, link the pavilions and frame views over the surrounding farm.
